Canon to Announce a $799 Full-Frame RF Mount Camera in 2022

Canon is rumored to announce a new full-frame RF mount mirrorless camera for $799 USD in 2022. The exact announcement date and detailed specifications are still unknown at the time of writing.

The Canon EOS RP was officially announced in February 2019 with a launch price of $1,299 USD (body only). So, if a full-frame mirrorless camera appears for $799, it will be quite welcomed by almost all of us and it is expected to be the lightest and most compact full-frame EOS camera to date and the cheapest full frame camera from Canon. Also, I would like to see more inexpensive RF lenses that are suitable for this camera.
