Will there be a successor to the Canon EOS 90D?

The latest rumors suggest Canon will not release a successor to the Canon EOS 90D. There might be no more xxD DSLRs coming.

Canon is ending production of EF lenses at a fast pace, and EF-S lenses are shrinking steadily, so it seems quite possible that Canon will not release a successor to the EOS 90D. However, in that case, I’m wondering if the APS-C EOS R will be prepared as a migration destination for 90D and 7D Mark II users.

I don’t know how much I can believe this rumor, but what would the name be if there was a successor to the EOS 90D? Is it EOS 95D? Stay tuned with us for more Canon Rumors.
