There are rumors that Canon will announce the “RF 800mm F5.6L IS USM” and “RF 1200mm F8L IS USM” in the near future.

The “RF 800mm F5.6 L IS USM” and “RF 1200mm F8 L IS USM” are RF mount super-telephoto lenses that have been rumored since around 2020. There was talk that it was about to appear, but it seems that rumors have finally emerged that it has been added to overseas stores. There are multiple codenames for unidentified interchangeable lenses, so it may be that 800mm and 1200mm are mixed in these. The authenticity of this information is unknown, but it could possibly be announced for CP +.

Canon has filed several new patents for RF mount super telephoto prime lenses.
