Canon EOS R100 Rumored Specs, Announcement in Q1 2023

According to the latest rumors on the net, the Canon EOS R100 entry-level RF mount APS-C mirrorless camera will be available in the first or second quarter of 2023. The entry-level Canon EOS R100 will replace the existing Canon Rebel (Kiss) series DSLR cameras.

Canon EOS R100 Rumored Specifications:

  • 24.2MP APS-C format CMOS image sensor
  • 14 fps high-speed continuous shooting
  • 4K/30p video
  • No HDR PQ video model like Canon EOS R10
  • 3.0″ 1.04m-Dot Vari-Angle Touchscreen
  • Announcement in Q1 or Q2 of 2023

That’s the first rumor about the EOS R100. Note that the spec comes from an unreliable source.

When the Canon EOS Rebel (Kiss) series begins to move to RF mounts, it should be the beginning of the end of the EOS M and SLR cameras. Keep an eye out for additional information in the future as to whether the rumored “EOS R100” will be such a model. Of course, the existence of “EOS R100” itself may be fake information.
