Canon EOS M7 & M50 Mark II Coming in Q4 of 2020

We already reported that Canon is planning to announce two new EOS M mirrorless camera bodies in the second half of 2020. One is the Canon EOS M50 Mark II (M50 successor), the other will be a higher-end EOS M mirrorless camera, which will reportedly be equipped with IBIS. Now, according to Canonrumors, the new higher-end EOS M mirrorless camera could be named Canon EOS M7 and it will be Canon’s next flagship in the EOS M lineup.

The upcoming Canon EOS M7:

  • same 32mp sensor as the Canon EOS M6 Mark II.
  • as well as IBIS.
  • Dual Card slots.
  • “all the bells and whistles”
  • official announcement in Q4 of 2020.

The upcoming Canon EOS M50 Mark II is expected to be announced later in Q4 of 2020. The details and announcement date are unknown at the present. And Canon will announce several EF-M prime lenses for the Canon EOS M lineup mirrorless cameras.
