New Firmware Update for Canon EOS R5 Coming in February 2021

The next firmware update for Canon EOS R5 is scheduled to be released sometime in February 2021.

Improvements for the next Canon EOS R5 firmware:

  • Canon Cinema RAW light addition
  • C-Log 3
  • 1080p @ 120fps
  • Bug fixes

This new firmware for Canon R5 is already out there in beta form in loaner cameras. And Canon has the plan to add new features to both the Canon EOS R5 and the Canon EOS R6 through the firmware updates in the next 12-24 months. Stay tuned with us for more Canon Rumors.
