High-Resolution Canon EOS R5S & 11MP Video-Oriented EOS R5C Coming Soon
We know Canon is currently working on a high megapixel full frame mirrorless camera (Canon EOS R5S or EOS R3S). Now, according to the latest rumors, Canon will also announce a 11.25MP video-oriented Canon EOS R5C (or R3C) camera. The new Canon EOS R5C/R3C and R5S/R3S are said to share the same camera body form factor and both have a newly developed heat sink.
Canon EOS R5C/R3C:
- 11.25MP full-frame CMOS image sensor
- has the same sensor technology as the EOS R5 but with half resolution
- records 4K/120P with no crop
- does 2.8K supersampling in super35 mode
- have a newly developed heat sink
Canon EOS R5S/R3S:
- 90MP full-frame CMOS image sensor
- 5-Axis in-body Image Stabilization
- Has “double-width resolution sensor of EOS R6“
- 12fps
- Dual Pixel AF performance in low light better than EOS R5 and EOS R6.
- “high resolution monster being hybrid for quality and speed“
- have a newly developed heat sink
- Dual card slots: SD (compatible with UHS-II), CFexpress type B
- LP-E6NH battery
- Built-in 5GHz Wi-Fi
- Magnesium alloy body
- Dust-proof and splash-proof
