Canon XF505 Coming in the 2nd half of 2021

The 2021 NAB show will officially run from October 9 to October 13, 2021. And Canon is planning to announce the new Canon EOS R5C, Canon XF505 and a bunch of new CINE lenses in the second half of 2021, probably on NAB Show 2021.

The new Canon XF505 camcorder will sit between the XF405 and XF705 in the lineup, and below is what we know so far about the Canon XF505.

Canon XF505 Specifications:

  • Same 1″ sensor as the XF705
  • 12G-SDI output and SD cards
  • An integrated zoom lens with 15x zoom
  • BP-A batteries
