Canon RF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM Lens Firmware Version 1.0.6 Released

Canon Japan released the new firmware update version 1.0.6 for Canon RF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM Lens, to fix some users experienced front-focusing issues when focusing on a subject close to the minimum focusing distance at the telephoto end.

New firmware Version 1.0.6 includes the following fixes:

  • When the focal length of the lens was around 200mm (telephoto end), the focus position was slightly shifted toward the near side when AF shooting a close subject.
