Canon RF 400mm f/4 DO IS USM & RF 200-500mm f/4L IS USM Lenses Coming in 2022

In addition to the upcoming RF 400mm f/2.8L IS USM lens and RF 600mm f/4L IS USM lens, Canon is also planning to announce the new RF 400mm f/4 DO IS USM and RF 200-500mm f/4L IS USM uper-telephoto lenses next year.

Canon RF 400mm f/4 DO IS USM Lens

This new Canon RF 400mm f/4 DO IS USM super-telephoto lens will be the smallest and lightest lens of its kind. It’s a completely new optical formula for the RF mount. and I’m looking forward to seeing what kind of lens it will be.

Canon RF 200-500mm f/4L IS USM Lens

This new Canon RF 200-500mm f/4L IS USM Lens wil be the successor to the EF 200-400mm f/4L IS USM 1.4x. And this RF 200-500mm is likely to be different in size because the telephoto end is 100mm longer than the EF version. With this, if a 1.4x telephoto lens is built in, the super-telephoto range is likely to become an extremely versatile lens that can handle most shooting with this one lens.
