Canon EOS R6 Will be Released in Late August

According to Nokishita, the upcoming Canon EOS R6 will be released in Japan in late August 2020. The official announcement will be on July 9th at 8AM EST.

Canon EOS R6 main features:

  • 20MP CMOS sensor based on flagship model
  • DIGIC X image processor
  • Dual Pixel CMOS AF II

Canon EOS R5 main features:

  • World’s first 8K video recording
  • World’s highest 8.0-step image stabilization
  • 45MP image sensor
  • up to 20 fps continuous shooting
