Canon EOS R5 Firmware Update Version 1.50 Coming Soon

According to the latest rumors, the next firmware update Version 1.50 for Canon EOS R5 mirrorless camera may be released sometime around the ship date for the Canon EOS R3. The Canon EOS R3 is scheduled to start shipping on November 26, 2021.

Improvements for the next Canon EOS R5 firmware:

  • Added support for the RF 5.2mm f/2.8L Dual Fisheye Lens
  • Bug fixes
