Canon EOS C300 Mark III & RF Mount Cinema Cameras Coming in 2020
2020 will be a busy year for Canon. In addition to the new EF-mount DSLR cameras/lenses and RF-mount mirrorless cameras/lenses, Canon will also announce at least two new Cinema EOS cameras in 2020.
One of them will be the Canon EOS C300 Mark III cinema camera, a Super35 4K camera that will follow the modular design of the Canon Cinema EOS C500 Mark II.
The second will be Canon EOS C100 Mark III, a replacement for the Cinema EOS C100 Mark II, which will come later in 2020. According to CR, the Canon EOS C100 Mark III cinema camera “could be the first Cinema EOS camera with an RF mount “out of the box” and would introduce a new form factor for the lineup“.
And Canon will NOT announce an 8K camera in the near future, but maybe we will see a development announcement in 2020.
Reminder: Canon already announced the new Canon EOS C500 Mark II full frame cinema camera: $15,999 at B&H, Adorama
