Adobe Premiere Pro now Supports Canon EOS R5

Adobe today has released their June 2020 update of the Adobe Premiere Pro (version 14.3) that adds support for Canon EOS R5.

Premiere Pro now supports the following file formats:

  • Enhanced bitrate controls for JPEG 2000 MXF export
  • Import of Canon EOS R5 footage
  • Import of Canon EOS-1D X Mark III footage
  • Import of RED Komodo footage

The upcoming Canon EOS R5 and EOS R6 have been added to Canon’s latest product list. Pre-orders should start within about a month. The Canon EOS R5 is now listed at B&H and Adorama.
