Canon EOS R5 Firmware Update Coming Soon

Canon will be releasing new firmware updates for the Canon EOS R5 (Amazon, B&H, Adorama). The exact release date is still unknown, but will be “very soon”.

New features will come in the upcoming Canon EOS R5 firmware updates:

  • Addition of Cinema RAW light option to 8K recording
  • Addition of CLog 3
  • Increased record time limits (but don’t expect a huge boost)
  • Various bug fixes

These features are what’s coming first, but it may not come all at once in a single firmware update. Stay tuned with us for more Canon Rumors.
