Canon EF 300mm f/2.8L IS III & 500mm f/4L IS III Coming in Mid to Late 2019

On September 5th, Canon officially announced two new super telephoto prime lenses Canon EF 400mm f/2.8L IS III USM lens ($11,999 at Amazon, B&H, Adorama) and EF 600mm f/4L IS III USM lens ($12,999 at Amazon, B&H, Adorama). Both lenses shaved a lot of weight off of when compared to the predecessors, with weight savings at more than 25% and 20% respectively.

Trusted sources are claiming that Canon will soon announce the EF 300mm f/2.8L IS III and EF 500mm f/4L IS III USM Lenses in mid to late 2019. The two new Lenses will also get the similar weight savings, but not as much as the 400mm and 600mm.
