What to Expect from Canon Next?

The Canon EOS R5, EOS R6 and four new RF lenses were already announced on July 9th. So, what can we expect from Canon next? Below are what we know so far about the upcoming Canon cameras & lenses.

RF Lenses:

Cameras:

  • Canon EOS R5S/R3: A new high-megapixel full frame mirrorless camera. It won’t have the video options of the R5, but will sport a sensor in excess of 75MP.
  • Canon EOS R Mark II: the successor to the popular Canon EOS R.
  • Flagship Canon EOS M camera: Coming in late 2020. It will reportedly be equipped with IBIS.
  • Canon EOS RP Mark II: the successor to the popular Canon EOS RP.
  • Canon EOS M50 Mark II: Coming in late 2020.
  • Canon EOS 5D Mark V: Coming in Q4 of 2020 at the earliest
  • Canon EF-M Lenses: Coming in late 2020
