Two New Canon EOS R Series Mirrorless Cameras Coming in 2019

It seems that Canon is planning to announce two new Canon EOS R series mirrorless cameras in 2019.

The first one coming in 2019 will be an entry-level mirrorless camera positioned below the Canon EOS R itself, while the second one will be a“professional”full frame mirrorless camera coming later in 2019. This Canon EOS R Pro full frame mirrorless camera could be a baby EOS-1D X Mark II built for speed and video, or it is expected to be a high megapixel body meant for studio and landscape work. The previous rumor said Canon will announce a “full-blown” Canon EOS R Pro full frame mirrorless camera sometime in February 2019 ahead of CP+ show.

In addition, Canon is allegedly developing a new EOS R camera with an APS-C image sensor, probably a Canon EOS R version of the EOS 7D Mark II.

So whatever…lots of Canon fans are NOT satisfied with the Canon EOS R (crushed many dreams), so both an entry-level and a professional EOS R bodies are what we expect Canon to deliver in the next several years.

The Canon EOS R full frame mirrorless camera is now in stock at major US stores.
