Three new Canon RF Prime Lenses Coming Before CP+ 2020

The new Canon RF 85mm f/1.2L USM Lens

The latest rumor suggests that Canon will announce three new RF Prime Lenses in early 2020, ahead of CP+ 2020. These three lenses include a new RF 24mm f/1.4L USM Lens, RF 135mm f/1.8L USM Lens and a new “first of its kind macro lens”.

The new macro RF lens will be “first of its kind macro lens”, the details and announcement date is still unknown at the present.

The upcoming Canon RF lenses:

RF 85mm f/1.2L USM Lens – Available for pre-order on May 9th, 2019

RF 15-35mm f/2.8L IS USM Lens – Release date at the end of July, 2019

RF 24-70mm f/2.8L IS USM Lens – Release date at the end of July, 2019

RF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM Lens – Release date at the end of July, 2019

RF 85mm f/1.2 L USM DS Lens – Released in later 2019

RF 24-240mm f/4-6.3 IS USM Lens – Released in later 2019

RF 135mm f/1.8L USM Lens – Released in early 2020

RF 24mm f/1.4L USM Lens – Released in early 2020

It’s highly likely that Canon is planning to announce as many as 8 new RF lenses in 2020.
