New Patents: Canon RF 300mm f/2.8 DO & 400mm f/2.8 DO Lenses

Canon recently filed two new diffractive optics lens patents in Japan: 300mm f/2.8 DO & 400mm f/2.8 DO. These two new lenses are probably RF mount lenses, and are expected to come in 2020 alongside an EOS R version of the EOS-1D X Mark II.
