New Canon RF 500mm f/4 IS USM Lens in Development

As we all know, Canon is currently working hard on the new RF mount super telephoto prime lenses. Trusted sources are claiming that the first RF mount super telephoto prime lens will probably be the RF 500mm f/4L IS USM Lens.

The previous report said that an RF 300mm f/2.8L IS USM was also under development, but it will NOT be a consumer product anytime soon. In the past, Canon tends to announce super telephoto prime lenses in pairs, so the other lens could be the RF 300mm f/2.8L IS USM Lens.

The details and announcement date for Canon RF 500mm f/4 IS USM Lens is still unknown at the present, maybe after the release of EOS R Pro body.
