Canon RF 24mm f/1.2L & RF 85mm f/1.2L Lenses on the Way

In addition to the upcoming RF 24-70mm f/2.8L IS USM zoom lens, Canon is also developing two new fast f/1.2 L prime lenses: RF 24mm f/1.2L USM lens and RF 85mm f/1.2L USM lens. All these three new RF lenses are expected to be released in late 2019 or early 2020.

The Canon EOS R full frame mirrorless camera was officially announced on September 5, 2018 along with two prime lenses: RF 50mm f/1.2L USM lens ($2,299) and RF 35mm f/1.8 IS Macro STM lens ($499).

I believe both the Canon RF 24mm f/1.2L and RF 85mm f/1.2L lenses will be very interesting choice for the lineup and should be welcomed by the Canon full frame mirrorless users, especially with the speed of the lens. In addition, I think a fast Canon RF 35mm f/1.2L USM lens would be more popular. Stay tuned for more info.
