Canon EOS 7D Mark II is now Discontinued, 7D Mark III is Coming?

The Canon EOS 7D Mark II camera body is now listed as discontinued at B&H. Although discontinued, the Canon EOS 7D Mark II camera is still available at Amazon and Adorama.

We know that Canon EOS 7D Mark II was announced in February, 2014, so the new Canon EOS 7D Mark III (Canon EOS 7D Mark II replacement) is expected to be announced soon (in Q4 of 2018 at the earliest).

  • 28MP sensor
  • 4K video
  • More video oriented features
  • Tiltable touchscreen
  • More upscale than the Canon EOS 7D Mark II
  • A higher end feature set when compared to other APS-C DSLRs from Canon
  • A “new generation” of Canon APS-C sensors
  • The same introductory price as the EOS 7D Mark II
