Canon EOS 5D Mark V & EOS R Mark II Coming in Q4 of 2020 at the Earliest
The latest rumor suggests that the Canon EOS 5D Mark V DSLR camera and Canon EOS R Mark II mirrorless camera will come in Q4 of 2020 at the earliest. We are happy to hear that Canon is still has the plan to update its most popular professional full-frame DSLR camera, the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV, since Canon has turned to mirrorless cameras and RF-series lenses over the past years.
The Canon EOS 5D Mark V is expected to have the similar specifications as the upcoming EOS R replacement. While the source did not mention a timeframe, it’s safe to assume that both the Canon EOS 5D Mark V and the EOS R Mark II will not be released that soon (in Q4 of 2020 at the earliest). And Canon EOS 5D Mark V could be the last DSLR camera of 5D series.
The Canon EOS 5D Mark IV body is $300 off at Amazon, B&H, Adorama for $2,799. Read more Canon Rumors.
